Audit
We complete audits in various industries for all different sized operations. Review & Compilation
If you are a small or medium sized organization wanting a lower level of assurance a Review might be the right service for you. Our firm completes numerous Reviews and Compilations for clients in all different industries. Most of our Review and Compilation clients are small to medium sized organizations that are required to have a Review or Compilation as a condition of a loan or partnership agreement. Like all of our other services we tailor these engagements to meet the specialized needs of our clients.
401 k ERISA Audits
Employers with more than 100 eligible employees for their 401 k plan are required to have a limited scope audit of the plan filed in conjunction with the Form 5500 per ERISA regulations. These audits are different from other engagements because of the limited scope. We perform ERISA limited scope audits for companies in various industries including Safeharbor plans and 403 b plans. Our staff is knowledgeable in the process and works with your company to ensure that your audit and Form 5500 are completed and filed on time.
Bookkeeping
We offer bookkeeping services for clients that would like someone else to take care of the day to day accounting necessary to run a business. We work closely with our bookkeeping clients to ensure that their specific accounting needs are met. Often we find that our clients need our assistance for a limited period of time due to employee turnover or to perform a certain aspect of the bookkeeping that has been overlooked. Consulting
At Ling & Bouman we offer expert consulting services in addition to tax and accounting. We realize that there is much more that goes into a business besides just accounting and taxes. One of the specific consulting services we offer is Hotel Accounting Systems Review. We set up surprise visits to hotel locations and review all of the front office and back office procedures as well as look for other life safety issues. Our services can be tailored to any number of other business operations as well. The consulting operation is not limited to the review mentioned above.
